Homeowner Association (HOA) Documents
You will receive a lot of forms disclosing everything about the property, the area etc. Please read all of these carefully and make sure everything meets your needs. If you want us to review the disclosures, we can do that.
Please refer to the original package that we sent for prices and where to send them. If you are in agreement with the disclosures, please sign all of them and return them to the requested place. Every state has different disclosures so we cannot go into the specific forms.
If the home you are purchasing has a homeowner’s association you will receive the governing documents, minutes of the meetings, rules and regulations and financials. This is very important information to review.
You will have to live by these rules and if the HOA does not have adequate reserves, your dues may be going up or there could possibly be an assessment. Reading the minutes of the meetings should give you an indication of problems.
