Setting the Appointment
The easiest way to see a home is at an open house. If you attend an open house, show the agent our “Unrepresented Buyer / Buyer Non-Agency” form.
If there are no open houses, call the agent and ask for a private showing. Do not set up private showings for homes that are priced more than 5% above your "Pre-Qualification” letter.
When the agent asks if you have an agent, let them know that you are working with our law firm and you are representing yourself. If they ask who is writing the offer, let them know that we will be assisting you with the process. If they refuse to show you the home, send them the “Legal Letter” from our package.
For a private showing, bring the “Unrepresented Buyer / Buyer Non-Agency” and your pre-qualification letter from your lender. Do not sign anything at an open house or private showing under any circumstances.
Just provide the documents that we have provided you. It is okay to fill out a sign in sheet / registration form with your information, but there should be nothing to actually sign.
